Dorothy Adu-Amankwah


Vice President

Dorothy Adu-Amankwah, BA, is an aspiring physician-poet. She is a second year medical student at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She graduated from Duke University with a major in English and a minor in global health. She also received a certificate in Theology and Medicine from Duke Divinity. She is passionate about all the endless ways in which the humanities, especially creative writing, intersects with medicine. She is a mental health advocate for youth and believes in the importance of investing in the next generation. She loves traveling, cooking and learning about the history and culture of different countries.

Dr. Johnny Andoh-Arthur

Social and Community Psychologist and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, University of Ghana

Dr. Johnny Andoh-Arthur is Social and Community Psychologist and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, University of Ghana. He researches men and young person's mental health and has published over 40 scientific papers on these and related topics. He is a Licensed Community Psychologist with the Ghana Psychological Council. He is a member of the International Association of Cross-Cultural Psychologists (IACCP), International Association of Suicide Prevention (IASP), Critical Suicidology Network, and the Ghana Psychological Association (GPA). He is currently the General Secretary of Association of Suicide Prevention of Ghana (GASP).
